As of late, plus-size model Crystal Renn has caught my eye in the perusal of fashion pics that I have a habit of exercising daily. Just as beautiful in a size 12 as she was when she was a size 0 there is a lot to be said of this woman who has broken the norm of what the mass views as what is model-type, quite often this is mistakenly compared to as perfection relative to beauty and body image.
Crystal Renn was spotted at age 14 and was told to lose much of her weight (1/3 of it) to become a model, and like most others in the modeling industry maintained her weight through an eating disorder. After reassessing her life, her diet and her habits Renn re-emerged into the modeling industry as a plus size (US 12) model.
Currently she is the only plus size model to grace the cover of Harper's Bazaar and has walked the runway for designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Zac Posen amongst many others.

However, Renn is not only known for being a plus size model but for her many body transformations thus looks she is able to achieve...
I await the day when more plus size models are noticeable on the runway and on the covers of fashion magazines, important to societal views of what beauty truly is, that it is only skin-deep and comes in many shapes, sizes and colors.
